A photo of our troop was the heading for the Community Guide section of In and Around Magazine for June 2022. Our troop led the flag ceremony for Old Time Saturday and loves to participate in other city events throughout the year.

This weekend we went on a three-day camping trip at Sugar Hill Adventures. We practiced multiple camping skills, including cooking and fire safety. We had a boomerang instructor come out and give us some helpful tips and tricks on boomerangs. This was our first time to camp at Sugar Hill Adventures, and we can't wait to go again!

This Monday, we took a scuba lesson at McKinney Scuba in a 18 foot deep pool. We learned lots of scuba fundamentals, including how to pick out the right gear, how to put on the scuba gear, and how to maintain your safety while underwater. We had lots of fun and hope to go back soon.

We participated in our annual hot chocolate table at the Farmersville Lights event and ceremony. We love helping our local community!

This weekend, we represented Troop 310 at the annual Old Time Saturday festival. We performed a flag ceremony and marched along with the parade. It was a great time, and we can't wait until next year!

Over the next few weeks, we will be working on the Citizenship in the World merit badge. This badge is required to become an Eagle Scout, and is very helpful towards becoming knowledgable on how our world runs and how to be a good citizen in it.
